Honor Yoga  Foundation  seeks nominations for the Board of Directors!

The foundation was formed in late 2016 in order to bring the healing benefits of yoga to those most in need, those with little or no access to yoga studios.  With a unity of purpose, the Foundation partners with Honor Yoga Studios to expand the impact of yoga on our communities by supporting individual studio initiatives as well as sponsoring Yoga for Depression and Anxiety Workshops and Yoga retreats.

Honor Yoga Foundation’s Board of Directors work collectively to ensure fulfillment of the mission of Honor Yoga Foundation – to support well-being in communities by providing yoga related programs to underrepresented populations.

To ensure the continuation of our work and expansion of our efforts, please take a moment to think about fellow yogis who have:

  • Enthusiasm to serve others and engage Honor Yoga Studios to give back to their communities

  • A growth mindset, allowing them to share and explore all ideas and challenge the status quo

  • Integrity and a noticeable passion for excellence

  • An Entrepreneurial Spirit, with accountability for follow-through on projects - taking personal responsibility for commitments

  • A genuine belief and passion that yoga is a life-saving practice and the vision of yoga for all can change the world

After assessing the current board, ideal candidates will also have skill sets in one or more of the following areas:

Donor Management and Engagement

Candidates must be at least 18 years of age and exhibit a passion for yoga as a studio owner, instructor or dedicated student of yoga.
