Remembering Her is a three night women's retreat designed to help women reconnect with their identity, intuition, and inner wisdom. Whether navigating transition, rediscovering self worth, or seeking deeper alignment, this retreat offers space to soften, reflect, and remember the woman within who may have been overlooked, silenced, or forgotten in the pace of life.

Through movement, breath, storytelling, emotional processing, reflection, and community connection, this retreat helps women reclaim their voice, restore confidence, and return home to themselves.

Participants may upgrade to a private or semi-private suite by increasing their donation. Fundraising tools are available to support room upgrades.

Private rooms range from modest to premium-suite upgrades, depending on availability and donation level. Participants are encouraged to fundraise, seek sponsorship, or make an additional contribution to receive their preferred room.

MEET YOUR FACILITATORS

Dena Gillespie

Lead Facilitator

Hi! I’m Dena💛 I’m a passionate Reiki Master, Yoga teacher and Energy Practitioner that’s dedicated to guiding you on your transformative healing journey. With a background as a nurse and the experiences of being a special needs mom, I deeply understand the importance of balancing our energetic bodies to nurture physical and emotional well-being. My own path into energy work began in 2018 with my first reiki certifications. In 2020, I joined Honor Yoga and became a certified yoga teacher, weaving together movement, breath, and energy medicine. Since I’ve continued my education in energy healing with certifications in Shamanic and 13th Octave Reiki sound healing and so much more.

As a healer, I fuse ancient traditions to offer profound, personalized Reiki sessions, immersive workshops, and healing retreats. My approach blends yoga, breathwork, meditation, and Reiki with aromatherapy and crystals, helping you deepen your connection to healing energy and restore harmony in mind, body, and spirit.

My philosophy is simple: I believe in empowering you through accessible yet extraordinary healing. Whether you seek physical relief, emotional support, or spiritual growth, I’m here to help you awaken the inner healer within.

With over 30 years of experience in spiritual leadership and intuitive guidance, she leads this ceremonial retreat with deep wisdom, integrity, and spiritual grounding. Her work blends energy, intuition, and conscious awakening in a way that is accessible and transformative.

Community Connector

Christa Lee Olson is an intercultural educator and facilitator with more than two decades of experience helping people reflect across cultures, find their voice, and connect through shared human stories. A former Senior International Officer, professor, and global engagement leader, she has spent her career convening groups, guiding meaningful dialogue, and fostering compassionate understanding. Christa brings her depth in intercultural reflection, her grounding yoga practice, and her intuitive presence to lead the Sacred Story Circle prior to each retreat, creating a safe and thoughtful space for participants to arrive, connect, and be witnessed.

Ashish Kapoor

Director of Hospitality

Ashish creates nourishing, gourmet meals designed to support healing, deepen rest, and bring joy to the retreat experience. His cooking is an integral part of the nurturing environment at Orenda.

You will be asked about your lived experience, goals, and any emotional or physical considerations related to attending this retreat. All responses are strictly confidential and reviewed only by the retreat team.

Schedule Your Required 15-Minute Conversation

the end of the application, you will find a link to schedule a short call with the Retreat Chair or Lead Facilitator. This conversation ensures the retreat is a supportive and appropriate fit and that we can meet your needs safely.

Submit Your Refundable $500 Deposit

A refundable deposit is required to complete your application. Your deposit holds your place while your application is reviewed, becomes your retreat donation if you are accepted, and is refunded in full if you are not accepted.

Acceptance and Pre-Retreat Requirements

If accepted, you will receive your full pre-retreat packet, which includes safety and preparation guidelines, a packing list, optional journaling or pre-retreat practices, payment instructions if any remaining balance is owed, and details for your virtual group orientation. These materials will be sent once your acceptance is confirmed.
